Ceramic Garden Art & Totems | Location: 8887 EmpireĀ Grade |
After 32 years in Apparel Manufacturing, I retired in 2002. I had planted my vineyard some years earlier in anticipation of spending full time on that venture. My son had other thoughts for me and arrived with a Kiln, a wheel and clay and informed me that there were Ceramic classes in Sonoma. I had never touched clay, but it was “Love at First Sight” and I have been working in clay ever since.
I love handbuilding and have focused on Garden Art and Totems. I am love to create whimsical pieces for my totems and enjoy the variety of subject matter as well as the details of Glazing each piece.
