I have always loved making things. In my twenties, I started crafting custom stained glass windows. I had a studio for thirteen years in Santa Cruz until I tired of being a starving artist. I became a high school teacher, and there I sought to inspire my students through art. Later, as I began to travel more widely, I found that my imagination was sparked by the glass beads and charms I discovered — so much so that I began to design and make jewelry. The pieces are a reflection of my own whimsy and love of color.
